Sonic the Hedgehog rushes back to the competition with some brand new changes to be up to speed with the rest of the Sonic cast! While some aspects were removed, a lot of new ones were introduced or reintroduced!
[MOVESET]
+ All jab hits has increased in hitbox size overall.
+ Dash Attack has an extended hitbox at the front and goes a bit faster overall, having less duration. (forgot the numbers lol)
+ Up Tilt has less duration (30 something > 22), and the attack has less BKB (5.1? > 4) to link into itself and reliably chain into a majority of Sonic's kit.
+ Down Smash reverted to 9.2's, but the hitbox size has improved horizontally.
+ Forward Air is easier to land and bigger overall. It also has more bkb and kbg for consistency KOing.
= Down Air changed to official's, with the meteor hitbox taking priority this time and for longer. This move shoots a bit farther down than usual in trade. (but it's also something I forgot about)
+ Homing Attack (Neutral Special) range extended. (4.5h 3.5v > 4.8h 4v)
= Sonic Boost (Side Special) reworked a bit. It has more start-up but even more knockback and knockback growth, in the addition of going farther.
- This means Sonic Boost no longer has charge levels, and it also lacks Zair taunts.
[AESTHETICS]
* Sonic has new sound effects for Up Smash, Nair, Uair and Bair.
* Sonic has two new palettes, CMC's 8 Grand Ma and a custom orange inspired by Goku.
