dante mod crashes my game

Using CMC+ V7, Dante crashes my game upon trying to play with him (still i edited his dat file to be like a V7 one too), and I have successfully added V8 mods to V7 without any problem before. Why is that?

Dante uses features only available in newer versions of the game (CMC+ v8, 0.9.5 demo)
He will not work in prior versions as a result
