Armor Lord is a tank. He is a giant suit of armor wielding an equally giant sword. He can dish out a lot of damage, and take a lot of damage as well thanks to his massive weight, and passive heavy armor while grounded. His huge sword gives him great range, too. But, all of that comes at a price: He is really, really slow, as well as a big target.
Neutral Special sends out a bunch of firey projectiles that slowly fall in the air and slide along the ground, getting bigger for a moment, and then smaller until vanishing. They don't knockback or even flinch the opponent, but they do great damage and force the opponent to deal with it in some way, potentially giving Armor Lord an opening. Armor Lord's taunt has the same startup animation as this attack, allowing you to trick opponents. You can use both taunt and neutral special in the air, too.
Side Special has Armor Lord move forward with a flurry of strikes, carrying any hit opponent with him for massive damage, although it's slow overall and can leave you vulnerable if you're not careful. It too can be used in the air, but that may be risky off-stage..
Up Special is a simple stab upwards along with a big jump to try and recover. The sword really gets in the way of edgeguarding foes, but he's very vulnerable from the side and below.
Down Special makes Armor Lord hold his hand out and create a magical barrier. You can hold the special button to keep it out as long as you want. While the barrier is out, it destroys incoming projectiles and acts like a wall, preventing players from moving past it. At the very start of the move, it can hit opponents for a bit of damage while also reflecting projectiles instead of destroying them, rewarding good timing.
