Heavy Lobster is a massive mechanical crustacean that excels at mid range combat and guarding the edge of the stage. It is very big, slow, and heavy, with attacks that have pretty good range but take time to come out. The animations of some of it's attacks look like other attacks, making the opponent unsure about what move you're doing.
Neutral Special: charges up for a moment before spewing out lots of fire from it's claw, starting up and going down, then going back up again. It's slow to start but can potentially deal a lot of damage if most of the fire hits, like the rest of it's specials it can easily get in the way of an opponent who's trying to get back to the stage.
Side Special: charges up a bit before sending out a Mini Lobster that cruises straight forwards while on the ground and falls while in the air, dealing good damage and knockback on hit. You can only have 1 Mini Lobster out at once.
Up Special: does a big jump up, dealing damage to enemies above itself, before eventually landing with a crash, knocking away anyone around it for big damage. Heavy Lobster is completely vulnerable while falling down however..
Down Special: charges up a bit before sending out a Painted Slime to mess with enemies, this little creature stays in place at first, before suddenly bouncing up and forwards, it repeats this up to 3 times before disappearing. You can use this for many reasons, such as to pressure foes, deny an area, defend the ledge, and easily combo into other attacks if it hits. But like side special you can only have 1 slime out at a time.
V2:
Dash Attack: Hitting with dash attack now sends Heavy Lobster to the end of the attack animation early, letting you recover sooner. Dash attack also sports Heavy Armor for much of it's duration, tanking up to 6 damage without stopping.
Up Special: allows for pressing the shield button after the rising attack portion of the move is over to cancel out of the special and into an airdodge or even another attack. You cannot use up special again until you get hit or land back onto the ground, you also won't get the special landing animation or hitbox by canceling either.
