Yes, coding may not come naturally for other people but that ain't gonna stop him from actually looking at the tutorials and learn how to make actually good characters. His first attempt at a character being trash is acceptable since everyone starts somewhere but when he does it a second time (in his case, maybe his 30th (?) ) That's proof he isn't even trying. So Geo's comment is justified because at this point he should have learnt some things to make his characters good and what I think is happening is that your kind words of encouragement are influencing him to keep making these crap characters and never learn.

Yeah, tbh you're right, I think I posted that because I'm just salty I can't make good characters and could never figure out the tutorials, because I always thought I didn't have time to go through the whole thing because I do have a life outside of video games. And I do talk to this guy on YouTube and I don't want him to feel bad about it or anything.

The tutorials are actually pretty easy to follow, just follow one step at a time and you'll get it. You may also join the discord server for help as well.

Well, that's why we have the tutorials and discord server so you can get better. There isn't any excuse to still make spriteswaps.
